Regardless of how the team fares, Mets fans are one of the most die hard and loyal fanbases in sports. No disrespect to Citi Field, but Shea Stadium was such an iconic part of the franchise that it was a no brainer to represent my next word art. The piece begins with Richie Ashburn, one of my all-time favorites, and continues with the names of every single Mets player in history through 2008, Shea's final season.
